Severe flooding has affected communities across Bihar, leaving families facing difficult conditions and limited access to essential food, clean drinking water, shelter and basic supplies.

According to figures reported on 16 September 2026, around 49.74 lakh people were affected across 15 districts. Media reports had also reported at least 20 flood-related deaths; the statewide official death toll had not yet been consolidated publicly.

Anti Hunger Squad Foundation is raising emergency funds to support flood-affected families with humanitarian relief based on the needs identified on the ground.
